Reflection on 2021
Some of the highest points I had this year was when lockdown started because i got to stay home and not go to school . Starting at college was a high for me because it is way more fun then I thought it would be and making new friends i also got to see some of my old friends from kohanga . Some of the lowest points were when covid-19 kept coming back because It stopped some trips and stopped families coming into school for prizegiving. All the restrictions that came from covid was a low for me. I did not bring my chromebook enough this year which made me get detentions which was a low. My goal for year 10 is to always bring my chromebook, to settle in fast, stop talking to much and to arrive to class on time, and attend all of my classes and not bunk them and another goal is to be responsible and organised. |

consumerism
Today we watched a animated video about consumerism in one of our social studies classes. so if you don't know consumerism is a social and economic order that encourages the acquisition of goods and services in increasing amounts. Consumerism encourages purchasing and consumption of goods and services in excess of a person's basic needs. In a consumerist society people are bombarded by adverts discount product launches product giveaways among many other promotions meant to encourage constant and significant spending on goods and services. Therefore consumerism allows people greater access to the goods and services that improve their lives. The final point for the positives of consumerism is that it generally increases people's quality of life. By helping people meet these needs consumerism has improved the lives of many people.

Film Study
We are learning about film study and different types of camera shots. So far we have learnt about different types of camera shots, different camera angles emphasise different things, an establishing shot shows the set with no people to set the scene. We used 3 things to make a film type using dialogue, music and props we took photos of each other from different types of angles.
(close up,CU) (mid shot, MS) (long shot,LS)
(extreme close up,MCU) (mid shot,MS) (establishing shot)
