Diet:
Nectar is a fluid that bees find in flowers. Adult bees come to collect the honey then they suck
up the nectar out of the flower and fly back to the hive and vomit it out and flap their wings to
dry it. They make it thick so it turns into honey for their babies to eat. Another name for baby
bees is larvae. When they’re born the only thing they can eat is honey. Baby bees are those white
grubby things in the cells in the hive. Adult bees eat nectar and pollen from flowers.

In the hive, the bees lay eggs to make more bees, and they make honey to feed their babies.
Some bees are inside wooden boxes that humans make so they can collect honey.

Behaviour: Honey bees can only sting once then their stinger falls off and they die.
Appearance: Bees have pollen combs on their legs and that helps them collect pollen.
Bees have three body parts that makes them an insect; a thorax, abdomen and a head.
They have a stinger, wings , 6 legs , and a hairy body for the pollen to stick to and that
helps them transfer the pollen to the hive. To make honey for their babies.

Bees are important to us and we should look after them because they help the plants and
veggies grow. Without them we would not have plants, trees and animals would die.
